Show him your genitals
I have long bemoaned the fact that modern rap is a poor imitation of the protest poetry of a bygone hip-hop era.
That was before I came across this little gem, which has restored my faith in humanity and sprouted the green shoots of hope where before lie only the bitches and hos of bass-beaten despair.
The song, titled “Show me your genitals”, is performed by upcoming artist Jon Lajoie.

The Lonely Island Debut – So good you might just jizz in your pants
The other day, I was chatting to someone about premature ejaculation*.
I said to him, “You know, men’s health clinics have come a long way. You could probably get treatment for that”
He replied, “What? Are you crazy? I’m a project manager. Cumming early means completing a project on-time and under-budget. I get paid extra for that”
And then he broke out in song:
*No. Not really. I just wanted to try work this rather lame intro into the post.
I see little people – Tilt-Shift Time-Lapse Video Magic
These are some of the coolest videos I’ve seen all week…nay month.
Tilt-shift videography, or miniature faking photography is a clever photographic technique that manipulates the focus and lighting of footage to create an interesting effect.
There are two camera movements involved – Tilt: this is used to control the orientation of the plane of focus; Shift: this is used to control perspective.
In the videos below, Aussie photographer, Keith Loutit combines the tilt-shift effect with a timelapse effect and the results are…well, watch the videos and tell me what you think.
You can also view them in HD if you really want to be impressed.

Geek Rap II – The Large Hadron Hip Hop Collider
One of my first posts was the SEO rap video – finally a worthy follow-up emerges:
The Large Hadron Collider Rap is suprisingly rich on phact – highly hedjukashinal.
The geek-rap phenomenon gathers pace…
While on the subject of the machine designed to cause 800 000 000 collisions per second at 99.99999999991% the speed of light (so it’s a bit like the local minibus taxi industry except with fewer passengers), I can’t help but feel that the doomsday paranoia is somewhat premature. They’ve only just switched the thing on.
The first collisions will only happen somewhere around the 21st October – PANIC postponed until further notice.
Bigger and Russianer
Apologies for neglecting this blog the past few weeks – sadly my time is currently being monopolised by a sitebuild (among other things).
There are a few posts in the pipeline and hopefully they can get pushed out over the next week or so. In the interim, I’m posting this video, which I’ve just received on email (Russians. We give them capitalism and this is what they do with it.). I’d like to dedicate it to my Russian spammer comrades who are so generously contributing to my comment queue at the moment.

Also, be sure to take note of the screenshot I chose to use as the thumbnail for this post – therein lies a blogpost about the emotional hook of enticing imagery…or maybe it’s a post about boobies.
